Font Proof is now Hellbox

Font Proof has a new name: Hellbox. It is the same app, from the same person, doing the same thing. Only the name and the icon change.

What this means for you

Nothing to do. Your license still works. Your .fontproof files still open. Your settings, templates, and documents are untouched. The next update arrives the way every update does, through the app.

Why "Hellbox"?

In letterpress, the hellbox is the tray where worn or broken type is tossed to be melted down and recast, which felt like the right home for a tool built to find the flaws in type before it ships.
